Title: DAPL/RMAG/DGS 2000 Denver Prospect Fair & Technofest
Publication: The Outcrop, September 2000, p. 16
The second annual Denver Prospect Fair & TechnoFest hosted by the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen (DAPL), the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists (RMAG) and the Denver Geophysical Society (DGS) is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2000, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Prospect exhibitors, software developers, data vendors, and service companies will share their prospect ideas, new technologies and latest services with the Rocky Mountain (and beyond!) oil and gas community. Prices for this year’s event are $350 per exhibitor’s booth and $20 for viewer entry. There is no pre-registration for viewers.
Last year, all 108 booths were sold with a waiting list in event of a cancellation. About 1,000 people attended. Anticipating increased interest the second year of the exhibition, the event committee searched for larger space. The Colorado Convention Center was the only facility in Denver that could accommodate a larger event. We have room for at least 150 booths-all in the same hall. Morning and afternoon coffee/beverage and snack service will also be in the exhibition hall, as well as the “Finale Social” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with buffet food service stations (included in admission) and cash bars. If your company is interested in exhibiting, go to the Prospect Fair & TechnoFest Web page at http://www.rmag.org and follow the link to the exhibitor’s page. You can download an exhibitor’s registration form there. Call Sandi at the RMAG office at 303-573-8621 if you have additional questions about exhibiting.
Note that November 7th is general Election Day in the US. Consider absentee ballot voting if necessary or vote early, and then watch the election returns on the televisions that will be positioned around the exhibition hall.
We hope that all our members find the new venue a significant enhancement over last year’s. We encourage you to attend. Managers, bring all your technical staff, their assistants, clerks and secretaries. Let everyone in your office benefit from a day of viewing the latest in technology and exploration and development trends. Let them see how prospects are properly formatted. Expose them to the excitement of the upstream oil industry. Remember this show is for you, so mark you calendars now for November 7th and come out, learn, and enjoy!
