In association with the RMAG Shale Gas symposium, Gus Gustason, Marshall Deacon, and Robert Locklair led a field trip to outcrops of the Niobrara Formation along the northern Colorado Front Range on September 24. Thirty-one participants visited excellent exposures of the Niobrara at Six Mile Fold north of Boulder and in the Portland Cement Quarry outside of Lyons.
