Title: RMAG Teacher of the Year Selected

Publication: The Outcrop, June 2002, p. 15

The Popular Geology Committee has selected Mr. Daniel Snare to receive the RMAG’s Teacher of the Year award. Mr. Snare is an earth science and astronomy teacher at Pomona High School in Arvada. He was selected on the basis of the love and enthusiasm for the science that he shares with his students, demonstrated by the dynamic nature of his classroom activities. Having taught for 14 years, he enjoys taking kids out to the field to get a different perspective. The award will be presented at an RMAG luncheon in June.
