The Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists presents its 2002 President’s Award to Arthur W. (Butch) Butler, III in recognition of his service since 1999 as a driving force in organizing the RMAG/DAPL/DGS Prospect Fair and Technofest.

Butch received a BS in Natural Resources from the University of Rhode Island and an MS in Geophysics from Stanford University. He owns a geophysical consulting company, Insight Exploration, based in Buena Vista, Colorado. He is very active in his community and in politics, and has been involved in Boy Scouts with his children. He is an excellent organizer, an expert in delegating tasks and always gets to the crux of any matter in which he is involved. These skills have contributed to the great success of the Prospect Fair and Technofest.

In recognition of his dedication and enthusiasm in organizing the Prospect Fair and Technofest for the past four years, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists presents its President’s Award to Arthur W. (Butch) Butler, III.
