Mr. Garvin managed a very active exploration team for Excel Energy, drilling over one hundred wells in one year, and from 1982 to 1986 he was responsible for three major Minnelusa discoveries in the Powder River Basin for Western Gas Resources.

Recently, Bob has used his abilities to place MarkWest Resources in a leadership role in the development of coalbed methane in the San Juan Basin, and as a gas pipeline company in the Appalachian Basin. He has drilled several successful exploration wells in the Niagaran Reef play in the Michigan Basin. Bob’s technical abilities and business acumen have established him as a leader in the petroleum industry. He exhibits the ability to find overlooked plays and apply new technology to increase reserves.
