Ray Elden House died on January 5, 2003. Elden grew up in Wyoming and received his BS in Geology from the University of Wyoming in 1943. He was awarded the Silver Star for exceptional bravery while serving with the infantry at the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium in 1944. He also received the Purple Heart.
Elden worked for Husky Oil Company in Cody Wyoming, and lived and worked in Bolivia while working for Tenneco. As a consultant he had extensive international experience, including living and working in Singapore. He joined RMAG 14 years ago after returning from his overseas assignments. He is survived by two sons and two daughters. His daughter Nancy J. House is also an RMAG member.
