Author: Bob Basse
Publication: The Outcrop, May 2003, p. 9
Great activity plans and their budgets were the theme of the March Board of Directors meeting: Coal Bed Methane (CBM) , Piceance Basin, Glenwood Springs, and Golf. At least one of those has got to be your thing, so mark up your calendars with plans to be a part of these upcoming RMAG events.
Leam what’s new in CBIM at the June 10 Symposium; the Board-approved registration fees are a bargain for all that’s being offered. And consider that field trip!
Breaking new ground, the RIV\AG and AIPG will convene overlapping meetings at Glenwood Springs in early October. The Board approved a preliminary budget for a three-day, October 4-6, Field Symposium that looks more like vacation plans than work, so watch The Outcrop and your mailbox closely for registration news this summer.
As a companion to that event, watch for the first-ever, completely-on-CD RMAG Piceance Basin Guidebook, available this fall. The Board approved a publication bid that promises to step RMAG further into a lower cost and paperless future.
Watch for the ad and make Chairman Jeff Ware’s day by signing up early for the July 15th not-to-be-missed RMAG Golf Tournament. Jeff’s committee has plans to deliver a great day for the golfer in you and an approved budget to make it happen.
Events like these showcase the breadth of our membership and allow the RMAG to remain in great financial shape, thanks entirely to you for your participation and volunteer efforts. So sign on, sign up, and get a great geo-life!
