Publication: The Outcrop, November 2004, p. 15

The Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists is pleased to present its President’s Award to Ronald W. Pritchett for his dedicated service to the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists.

Since its inception in 1994, Ron has served as Publicity Chairman for the 3-D Seismic Symposium. He has been the primary contributor in creating the logo design for the 3-D Seismic Symposium. In addition, Ron served as Publicity Chairman for the August 2004 combined meeting of the Rocky Mountain Section of AAPG and the Colorado Oil and Gas Association. He has a natural talent for capturing geologic ideas and representing them in graphic designs.

Ron’s generous commitment of time and disciplined organization in planning and distributing the advertising has been essential to the success of all ten 3-D Seismic Symposia. His unique ability to imagine and create designs integrating geologic ideas with geophysics, business, and reservoir disciplines has further enhanced his organizational efforts.

The Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists is pleased to honor Ronald W. Pritchett with its President’s Award for his unique, creative service and long-term commitment to the 3-D Seismic Symposium.
